Tecsul reduced errors and noise with support of budgeting software

Tecsul has been offering products and services in the industrial area for over 20 years and is the largest representative of Alfa Laval in Latin America.

In addition to selling and servicing parts such as heat exchangers, pumps and valves, the company also offers training and guidance to customers on the use of its products.

With the increase in demand and customers in recent years, Tecsul has experienced significant growth and consequently encountered some difficulties in managing information and consolidating results.

Faced with this scenario, the company was looking for a tool for budget management and monitoring the company’s performance. That’s when AllStrategy Plano, a solution that met its management needs, was presented.

Business expansion, but no clarity on data

Tecsul serves customers throughout Brazil through the sale and maintenance of equipment for industries in various segments, in addition to offering training for its customers.

This range of options for the consumer, coupled with the growth of Alfa Laval, has brought considerable expansion to the company in recent years.

Although it was meeting customer demands, Tecsul faced difficulties in tracking the budget and viewing data by cost centers, units and accounts.

According to Rodrigo, a few years ago there was an attempt to implement a monitoring model via Excel or SAP, which is the company’s parent system, but the desired success was not obtained.

For some time, the company sought alternatives to have this clarity in the information, but could not reach the expected level of detail. Managers, for example, had no way of visualizing the costs of their areas or whether they still had capital for a given project.

This need, which was latent in Tecsul’s management, was important to support business growth, ensuring that resources would be managed in the best way and bringing more assertiveness to the administration.

The search for a suitable solution

After a few attempts to plan and track the budget, Tecsul decided to look for a software that would meet the management demand.
